Professional Skills Training, Module Two
Jon Eisman, Director, M.E.T.A. and Donna Roy, CHT, LPC
The M.E.T.A. Professional Skills Training modules use a thematic approach to teach the essential theory and techniques of the Hakomi Method, The Re-Creation of the Self Model of Human Systems, integrated trauma interventions, and advanced maps for enhancing therapeutic understanding and strategy. Module Two presents The Re-Creation of the Self (R-CS) Model of Human Systems, which offers a unique and fascinating, non-regressive approach to client change. Helping the client to recognize the limiting trance states they have embodied, it provides proven, specific techniques for allowing the client to shift immediately out of their limiting neural patterns and back into the already present, more expansive, vital and whole core self. Emphasis is on understanding the nuances of the map, mastering state-shifting skills, the embodiment of the therapist's resources, and the assumption that ultimately the client will need to commit to his or her own Selfhood.
