The M.E.T.A. Comprehensive Training is a two-year course (20 weekends) which covers the full curriculum of the Hakomi Method and The Re-Creation of the Self (R-CS) model, as well as foundational training in Trauma and Attachment work. Year One of the comprehensive training teaches the fundamentals of Hakomi and R-CS and introduces attachment and trauma assessment concepts. Participants are taught through short-talks, unique, skill-based experiential exercises, supervised practice, demonstrations, movement, and video review. Participants can expect a low student-teacher ratio, a relaxed and participatory learning environment and numerous opportunities to practice new skills with other group members.
