Interpersonal Skills Training (IST)

$2,400.00

The 6-month Interpersonal Skills for Life and Work (IST) training is designed to enhance personal awareness and empowerment, relational communication, and interpersonal facilitation skills. In it we explore inner habits, biases, resources, and abilities through mindful awareness of interpersonal dynamics, core qualities, bodily expression, and moment-to-moment choices. This all supports the development of enhanced self-awareness and skills for working effectively with others. The curriculum emphasizes both the Hakomi Method, a proven and world renowned benchmark in the field of mindful, experiential psychotherapy, and The Re-Creation of the Self (R-CS) Model of Human Systems, an innovative map of Selfhood and a powerful process for evolving personal issues. We also reference attachment theory, the science of how infants stabilize their presence in the world and learn to interact with others, as a map of relational resource. The IST presents practical theory and techniques that can be applied immediately in life.
